My Work
Fiction for Adults
“From the chilling bureaucracy of a dystopian society to the eerie metamorphosis of everyday life, these stories capture the essence of Kafka’s timeless themes.” – Publisher’s Official Description
When I first decided to dive into writing fiction again a few years back, the first story I completed was an idea that popped into my head one day out of nowhere: What might it be like if someone got a defective brain implant and had to deal with your average company’s tech support customer service line? Darkly humorous, with a descent into body horror and what it means to be connected… or not… Unsupported is a work I’m truly proud of.
Even better, mine is just the last of 38 tales included in this anthology. Some are slippery and sly. Others devastatingly dark and cutting. And a few are even tinged with hope. But all have that slightly-askew Kafka sensibility, questioning whether it is us who are broken — or the world.
